Jenni, page 2

10 / 19 / 21 - After a fun-packed, energy-filled three days with my little sister, Jenni headed off Tuesday morning down the Blue Ridge Parkway to her home at Lake Wylie, South Carolina. While she was here, we went at Sunset and Sundown to photograph the magnificent elk. The last time we went, there were three bulls moving about, shuffling their harems of female elk, back and forth around an enormous field, separated by some Woods, and the strip of cars that was us watching, the road behind the Cars, and the fenced in office area of the civil engineer's behind the road. We caught it all on camera. Some elk came as close as 10 ft to us!

On magical moments, the bulls would bugle from 1 field to the other bulls on the other side of the field.  They spent the whole time hurting their female elk around.

Then, we went to take a 4-Hour afternoon ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Well the leaves hadn't quite turned yet therein Bryson, North Carolina oh, we did capture some nice views of lakes, rivers, old houses in the woods, people waving from all the crossings through the town, Etc.

Complete opposites, my sister and I managed to laugh at our quirkiness and differences. I tend to travel by the seat of my pants, living in the moment and being rather serendipitous.  Jenni, on the other hand, likes to have everything planned to a T, is very tidy and calculated, and is prepared for anything, in a very organized way.  Like she said, though, we can always laugh at off, and are quite used to it because it's never any been any different. She offered me lots of technical advice on my new Samsung S21 Ultra phone, uploading pictures to the computer, Etc. And I provided her with campfire, hot dogs on a stick, and knowledge of the town of Cherokee, having stayed there for two days already.  And thanks to Jenny, there was always a bottle of wine to help us sit down, relax, and laugh at our shenanigans!

As you can see above, we also went to the one derfel Waffle House! I'm so glad she came to visit! P. S. I boarded Dubai while we were on the train.
